Product Description

Product Description:

The Epoxy Glass Laminated Sheet utilizes specially treated non-alkali glass fiber cloth as the reinforcement substrate and high glass transition temperature (Tg) epoxy resin as the adhesive, manufactured through a hot-pressing process under high temperature and pressure. This material maintains excellent mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and demonstrates stable electrical performance under high humidity conditions. Rated as Class H heat-resistant insulation material, it is widely used in power generation equipment, high-voltage electrical apparatus, rail transportation, and electronic communication fields that demand high reliability.

Advantages:

  • Exceptional Thermal Resistance and Mechanical Performance
Utilizing high-Tg epoxy resin, it qualifies as a Class H insulation material.     It not only operates reliably under long-term high-temperature conditions but also maintains excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability, resisting softening or deformation, making it suitable for high-temperature and high-load applications.
  • Outstanding Electrical Insulation Stability
With high dielectric strength and low dielectric loss, it demonstrates remarkable stability even in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, making it an ideal insulation material for high-voltage applications.
  • Excellent Environmental Tolerance
The dense structure of the epoxy resin system results in low water absorption, providing effective resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, and oils.  This significantly extends its service life in harsh environments.
  • Superior Machinability and Adaptability
It offers excellent mechanical processability, allowing for easy fabrication into complex-shaped components.    This ensures convenient processing and strong adaptability.

Technical Parameters:

Attribute Value
Density 1.80~2.00 g/cm3
Water absorption (3mm in thickness) ≤ 22mg
Flexural strength perpendicular to laminations (normal) ≥ 380MPa
Tolerances on thiness 1±0.18mm / 2±0.28mm
Tensile strength ≥ 300MPa
Dielectric dissipation (50Hz) ≤ 0.04
Relative Permittivity (50Hz) ≤ 5.5
Electric strength perpendicular to laminations (at 90℃±2℃ in oil), 1mm in thickness ≥ 14.2 kV/mm
Insulation resistance (after 24 immersion in water) ≥ 5.0 × 10^4 MΩ
Breakdown voltage parallel to laminations (at 90℃±2℃ in oil) ≥ 35kV

Applications:

  • Power Generation and High-Voltage Electrical Equipment
Used as key insulation components in large generators, high-voltage switches, and transformers, ensuring stable operation and mechanical robustness under high temperatures and voltages.
  • Rail Transportation
Applied in core equipment such as locomotive traction motors and control systems, providing highly reliable insulation and structural support that meets stringent environmental requirements.
  •  Electronic Communications
Serves as substrate material for high-end PCBs in high-frequency communication equipment and power amplifiers, delivering stable dielectric performance and mechanical support.
  • Industrial Instruments and Machinery
Widely used in test fixtures, chip test sockets, and wear-resistant structural components, meeting industrial needs for high precision, insulation, and integrated strength requirements.
