Product Description
Product Overview

H-Class Polyester Glass Fiber Binding Tape is made from alkali-free glass fiber impregnated with heat-curing unsaturated polyester resin. Its semi-cured, open-mesh structure allows smooth unwinding and easy handling while helping reduce fraying and deformation during application.

During heat curing, the resin flows through the fiberglass structure and forms a reinforced insulating layer. Designed for H-Class electrical insulation systems with a thermal rating of 200°C, this tape provides mechanical reinforcement and electrical insulation for motor windings, transformer coils, and other high-voltage electrical components.

Technical Parameters
Thickness 0.2 / 0.3 mm
Thermal Class H (200°C)
Key Advantages
  • High Thermal Rating: Suitable for H-Class insulation systems rated at 200°C.
  • Mechanical Reinforcement: Provides firm binding and support for coils and electrical windings.
  • Electrical Insulation: Forms an insulating layer after heat curing.
  • Easy Handling: The open-mesh structure supports smooth unwinding and convenient application.
  • Heat-Curing Performance: Resin curing helps secure the binding structure and reinforce electrical components.
Applications
  • Motor and generator winding and end-turn binding
  • Transformer coil fastening, clamping, and reinforcement
  • Instrument transformers and high-voltage electrical equipment
  • Forming and reinforcement of valve elements in lightning arresters
